Today we braved the cold winter air of manresa beach. The sun was out and the surfers were hitting the big waves… Xander and I were hitting up the front flips. Today our entire workout was to do 100 front flips in a row. At first we did not know if we would be victorious or not, but once it was spoken… it had to be done.
We ended up breaking it down in three sets:
25 Front Flips
rest
25 Front Flips
rest
50 Front Flips
If you attempt this workout I highly recommend landing in the soft dry sand, not the hard wet sand. After our workout was complete we jumped into the ocean, can you say shrinkage? That was some cold water but it felt great and refreshing after such a difficult workout. We were proud that we finished all 100 front flips, even though it took us about two hours to do. At the very end I challenged Xander to a 100 back flip workout, he smiled, maybe I shouldn’t have uttered those words.
