Sprinter Nutrition Tips

1. Consume a lot of Carbs to fuel training, but not as much as endurance athletes.

2. Eat a diet full of nutrient dense foods (animal products, grains, root vegetables).

3. Use energy dense snacks on the go or in between workouts.

4. Try to achieve a low body fat percent by eating smart and not over overindulging.

5. Start a competition day with a nice breakfast of oats and milk or other slow burning carbs.

6. Load up on liquid an hour before running a race and after any competition.

7. Eat an adequate amount of protein to rebuild strong muscles needed for sprinting.

8. Eat fat to help stimulate the fat burning process but not enough to pack on body fat.

9. Take in plenty of fresh fruit to keep antioxidant levels high.

10. Make sure to include a quality omega 3 supplement.

Sprinting is a very demanding sport. It requires a combination of extreme power, agility and relaxation. In order to meet the nutritional needs, it is important for sprinters to eat healthy diets, stay away from processed foods and always remember to hydrate the system.

Any sprinters want to share their personal tips? Experiences?

Hi,
Acne is an age-old problem that generally affects teenagers but also a large number of adults. Whether we’re in our teens or past puberty, acne poses the same problems: it eats up our confidence, makes us feel unattractive and ugly, and at its worse, makes us ashamed to face the world and constantly.
