When your taking a shower after a workout alternate between hot and cold water. Assuming you take a 10 minute shower switch between hot and cold every 2 minutes and try to get the extremes on both temps. This helps to reduce muscle soreness because it stimulates the blood in your body and filters out lactic acid faster.
